  3. In addition to the sounds, cursors, icons, etc. for the Carmageddon 
  4. Theme Pack, I have also created new screens to replace Windows' 
  5. startup and shutdown screens.  I didn't want to force these screens 
  6. on anyone since some people do not want "any" graphics displayed 
  7. during these functions.  
  8.  
  9. So if you want to install them, do the following:
  10.  
  11. 1. In the Root directory of your C drive, find "LOGO.SYS" and rename 
  12. it to something else, (any name you want is fine, this is just so you 
  13. can put it back later if you want to.)  Copy the LOGO.SYS provided 
  14. with the Carmageddon Theme to the Root directory.

  16. 2. In the directory where you have Windows 95 installed, (Usually this 
  17. is C:\WINDOWS) find and rename LOGOW.SYS and LOGOS.SYS the same way you 
  18. did above with the other file.  Copy the LOGOW.SYS and LOGOS.SYS from 
  19. the Carmageddon Theme directory to the Windows directory.

  21. That's all there is to it.  Now, when you start or exit Windows 95 
  22. you will have the screens from the Carmageddon Theme pack instead 
  23. of the generic Windows images.

  25. Note: You do not have to rename your old files.  I only suggested it 
  26.       so that you could put them back should you get as tired of the 
  27.       Carmageddon Theme as you probably already are of the Windows original.
